A magnifier is included to aid accurate setting of the fence along the scale, marked out in mm. The fence can be fitted on either side of the blade. The rack & pinion blade guard design is adjusted by using a dial on the side of the machine. The blade is then guided by two side facing bearings and a rear thrust bearing attached to the end of the guard. The side bearings are mounted on an eccentric cam, for faster setting, and can be adjusted without using any tools.
